Steadfast In The Wilderness Week 1 — James 5:1-12

Waiting can leave you feeling vulnerable. It’s easy to look around and think people who ignore Jesus or gain wealth by stepping on others somehow have it easier. James 5:1–12 speaks directly into that tension. This Sunday we’ll see how steadfast faith prepares us for the spiritual battle of waiting, through patient endurance.

We will walk away with three pictures of patience from James, that help us to keep trusting in seasons of waiting. We will discover that what you are walking through is not the end of the story. And like Job as we remain steadfast in the Lord, we will see “the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and merciful.” (v.11)
